Sky broadband: what you get
Sky sells part fibre and full fibre broadband, with full fibre speeds up to 5Gbps where it's available, on 24-month contracts. Here's what it offers, in plain English, from Sky's own broadband page.
Broadband-only prices depend on your address, so check yours on Sky before you order. Adding TV? Sky shows a TV and Full Fibre 900 bundle at £41 a month.

Contracts, fees and the small print
- Contract length: separate 24-month minimum terms for broadband, Sky Talk and any add-ons such as WiFi Max.
- Price changes: Sky says prices may change during your minimum term. Its broadband page doesn't set out a fixed April price rise in pounds, so ask Sky what any rise would be before you order. After 24 months, you pay what you were paying just before the term ended, plus £5 a month.
- Setup: a £9.95 router delivery fee plus a £10 activation fee may be required, and non-standard setup may cost extra (from Sky's site, checked 4 November 2026).
- Router: you get a Sky Hub, loaned at no cost, which you must return when your broadband ends.
- Phone line: line rental and Sky Talk Pay As You Talk are included as standard. On full fibre and some part fibre, calls are internet calls, which aren't suitable if you rely on your landline in an emergency or have a care alarm.
- Switching: Sky handles the switch with One Touch Switch. It also advertises up to £200 credit towards your old provider's leaving fees, but you have to claim it with proof of payment within 90 days, and conditions apply.
- Speed Guarantee: if your speed stays below your guaranteed minimum for three days in a row, you can leave broadband and Talk without early termination charges.
- WiFi Max: an optional add-on with whole-home WiFi features, from £6 extra a month or free with Gigafast+ (checked 4 November 2026).
- Lower incomes: Sky offers a social tariff. Ask about it if you're on certain benefits.

Who Sky suits
- Homes that want the fastest full fibre speeds and can get them.
- People who already have or want Sky TV with their broadband.
- People happy with a 24-month contract.
It may suit you less if you want a short or rolling contract. Work out the total over 24 months, including setup and any price changes, and compare it with another provider before you switch. Our Onestream guide covers another option.
Sky TV, Glass and Stream
Sky's Stream page lists Sky Ultimate TV with Full Fibre 900 broadband as separate 24-month terms: Ultimate TV £21 a month and Full Fibre 900 £20 a month, so £41 a month together (checked 4 November 2026, new Sky TV and broadband customers). It's the only Sky broadband price Sky shows without a postcode. After 24 months it lists the standard prices as currently £38 and £25. See our Sky TV guide for every package and add-on, and Sky Glass and Sky Stream for the kit.

Why doesn't SimSift show Sky's prices?
Sky shows plan prices after you enter your postcode, and we haven't connected a Sky price feed yet. We'd rather show no price than one we haven't checked.
