Virgin Media's Black Friday deals are live: what they really cost
Virgin Media started its Black Friday broadband and TV sale on 5 November 2026. Broadband-only starts from £21.99 a month for M250 or M350 (24 months). Gig1 is £26.99 a month with Netflix Standard with ads included. The sale ends 6 December 2026. New customers can claim up to £300 switching credit. Prices rise by £4 each April during the contract, so the true monthly cost is higher than the headline.

What changed
Virgin Media has put Black Friday prices on broadband-only, broadband + phone, TV bundles and Volt (broadband + O2 SIM) packages. Virgin says the sale runs until 6 December 2026 (Virgin Media). Switching credit of up to £300 (to help with early termination fees) is also on for new customers (claim rules apply; that offer runs until 28 December 2026 according to ISPreview).
Who it affects
- New Virgin Media customers in areas Virgin Media can serve. Prices below are for new customers.
- People mid-contract elsewhere who might use the switching credit.
- Existing Virgin Media customers get separate Black Friday deals in My Virgin Media — these new-customer prices are not for them.
- Volt packages need a separate O2 Pay Monthly contract as well as the Virgin Media broadband contract.

What it costs (true monthly cost)
Prices are from Virgin Media's own Black Friday legal text on 6 November 2026. "True monthly cost" assumes a new 24-month contract starting in November 2026, and adds Virgin's £4 April rise (contracts from 2 October 2025): 5 months at the offer price, 12 months at offer + £4, then 7 months at offer + £8. Setup is £0 on these deals if you use QuickStart.

- Cinema (Mega TV + Sky Cinema HD + M500 + Netflix): £39.99/month (Virgin's Cinema legal text; some pages also list £31.99 — check your basket)
- Sport (Mega TV + Sky Sports HD + M500 + Netflix): £47.99/month for 24 months, then £64.39
- Gig1 Entertainment + Netflix + O2 SIM (Volt): £37.99/month for 24 months, then £51.99

Things to watch
- £4 every April is written into contracts from 2 October 2025. You do not get a penalty-free exit for that rise.
- After 24 months the price jumps to Virgin's "thereafter" figure (and April rises keep applying). Set a reminder before month 24.
- Coverage is cable / Nexfibre, not Openreach. Check your postcode. Gig2 is selected areas only.
- The marketing line "from £21.99" is M250/M350. M125 is £23.99 on Virgin's own legal text (ISPreview listed M125 at £21.99 — we followed Virgin).
- Phone bundles include line rental in the quoted price where Virgin says so.
- Gig1 marketing copy on Virgin's page says about 1,130Mbps; Virgin's legal text says 1,136Mbps average — we use the legal figure.
What to do
- Check your postcode on Virgin Media before comparing. No point falling for a deal you can't get.
- Compare true monthly cost, not the first-months headline. Sky's Full Fibre 500 at £26 a month (no £4 April rise in pounds on its BF pages, though Sky still says prices may change) is a useful Openreach comparison if both reach you.
- If you're stuck in a contract, work out whether the up-to-£300 credit covers your early exit fee before you switch.
- Already with Virgin? Look in My Virgin Media for existing-customer Black Friday prices rather than these new-customer ones.
