- Best for a week in Europe: 1GB for 7 days at £2.55 (£2.55/GB, Europe bundle). The lowest cost per GB on a Europe bundle of a week or less.

WorldSIM eSIM Pro: calls, texts and data with a UK number
eSIM Pro is pay as you go. You buy airtime credit, which WorldSIM says you can use in any country or turn into data bundles. The data, minutes and texts below are WorldSIM's own "up to" figures, which vary by country.

- No phone number on eSIM Connect. Keep your UK SIM on for calls and texts if roaming is free on your plan, and turn data roaming off on it.

Is WorldSIM's eSIM Connect data only?
Mostly. WorldSIM's eSIM Connect bundles have no phone number, and most are data only, though a few bigger multi-country bundles add some call minutes and texts (shown in our tables). If you need a number abroad, WorldSIM's separate eSIM Pro comes with a UK number and pay-as-you-go airtime.
Does WorldSIM charge in pounds?
Yes. WorldSIM shows UK visitors prices in pounds (GBP), so you won't pay a foreign transaction fee on a sterling card.
How do I compare WorldSIM with other eSIMs?
Look at the price per GB for the data you'll use, then check the plan lasts your whole trip. Our destination pages put WorldSIM alongside other providers and UK roaming fees.
Will a WorldSIM eSIM work on my phone?
Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. Most recent iPhones, Pixels and Samsung Galaxy phones do. Check before you buy, because you install the eSIM by scanning a QR code.
Should I pick an unlimited plan?
Only if you'll use a lot of data. For most trips a fixed bundle works out cheaper, and the £/GB column shows you exactly what you pay for each GB.
When does the plan start?
WorldSIM says its data bundles activate when you first connect to a supported network, so you can install the eSIM at home before you fly.
